Bought to replace front tyres on my wife's car. I live in a hilly place (the Pennines) and wanted something that could cope with snow without going to expense of having two sets of tyres for the car. Excellent on all fronts. Grip in snow (compared to old summer tyres) was brilliant. No great sacrifice in other areas. Really good tyre.
