    Comment:
I had these tyres fitted to replace my Continental Sport Contact 3's during the snow we had this year. My car bearly moved on snow with the Conti 3's, and then the QUATRAC 3's were fitted and i was amazed. The grip on snow and ice was incredible by comparison, i made continued progress up icy and snowy inclines that the day before i was sliding down backwards. In the wet they are also awesome. I have really trialled these tyres very hard in the conditions available and i am impressed. For example I have to try very hard to get my car to understeer, even on wet roundabouts. For an all seasons tyre, i have to give credit to Vredestein. This tyre is so well suited to the UK climate, with intermittent and patchy snow and ice. It seems pointless going for all out snow tyres that are going to be worn out in no time at all on tarmac, (unless you have the time to keep swapping them over for summer tyres!). Naturally the Quatrac 3's are not going to outlast summer tyres because the rubber has to be relatively soft to enable the cold weather performance. But as a winter tyre you can't go wrong. I'm taking them off at the end of March and storing them till December where no doubt they'll be worth every penny i paid for them.
