    This tyre has very noticeably better grip on icy surfaces than the normal (non-all-weather tyres from leading manufacturers).

    Great tyre, and after 15,000 miles still looking like new. Fuel consumption really took a noticable hit with these - was getting ~50mpg with Michelin Alpin tyres, now ~46mpg. You can really hear these tyres when cornering! That aside, their grip in adverse conditions is really something else, rain, mud, snow, they out perform any other tyres I've had. It is obviously not as good as the top performing summer tyres in the dry, but it is certainly up there.
