2009 Legacy 3.0R Tires started out very quiet .I have 16.000 miles on them. In the last 5.000 miles they got very noisy. I just took my winter tires off and was shocked at how loud they were. alignment is correct , tires are less then a third worn . I also noticed when sitting over night on a cold night the tires would flat spot. After a few minutes driving the thumping would disappear . I remember back in the late 60s tires with nylon cords would do that . In 40 years I have been driving I have never experienced a tire that went from good to bad this quick
