Great for the purpose I bought them for a mixture of off road, green lining and road travel. No surprise - Great off road, OK on road. very small via when at motorway speed but nothing uncomfortable. Have to be careful when changing from a full on road tyre to these as they don't brake as well on wet roads. Can't comment on fuel consumption as never bother checking. As for wear the soft rubber gives great traction at expense of tyre life. Done under 1000 miles so still to early to say but most people get around 5000 miles.

    Comment:
Observations based on dual purpose requirements. Similar/identical characteristics to the Mitchelin T63 but better wear. You consciously brake less with the front brake to preserve tyre life with knobblies. That said I don't have ABS which would eat the tyres more than manual braking. Bike Falls into corners less with these tyres, probably the rounded profile, but is a good thing More street oriented than the Pirelli MT20 with significantly better tyre life. Similar characteristics to the Golden Tyre Gt200/Gt205 more expensive but more road orientated and no difference in the rear tyre at all. Best all round front tyre I have found so far, but the rear has competition in the Mitas E10. although I have not tried their front yet Rear compared to the Mitas E10 -TKC80 has a much softer side wall, so tyre pressure is more important, and they are easier to mount on a wheel than the Mitas, much easier. Fuel consumption goes down pretty much in line with all knobblies compared to a road tyre.
