Comment:
Avon tyres tend to get looked down on by many motorcyclists who only want the latest greatest rubber to prove how good they are. While the other companies have been pushing forwards with what amounts to slicks with a tread cut in them Avon have been quietly pushing high mileage sports touring tyres. The Storm Ultra 11's are good enough for you to get your knee down while still getting mileages in excess of 10,000 on a rear and more on a front without squaring off. So if you want I run these in different sizes on both my Deauville and an 08 ER6'f and have friends who run them on various other bikes. Yes they don't have the outright grip of a track day tyre but they do have a lot of grip, stability, life and the added bonus of low price.
