When the temperature rises to 15degrees or above it is not as good as a summer tyre, otherwise below 10 degrees it is brilliant. Got me up snow & icy 25% hills- and down again. They inspire confidence in cold & dry as well as wet & snowy & icy conditions. Great for offroad use as well.

    Comment:
Driving in the winter snow in the UK proved no problem, was even able to drive places Front Wheel drives could not manage (Having weight in the boot does help improve traction). Drove 2500 miles in France to go skiing and visit friends and no slipping or sliding on the Alp roads. These winter tyres are a must-have in winter for rear wheel drive cars.

A very good winter tyre that allows a powerful RWD car to get about in all the snowy / icy / wet conditions the UK has experienced this winter. Excellent at all speeds found in the UK, but care needed ascending steep hills in deep slush.
