Probably the best tyre out there for the MGTF / MGF

    Comment:
Good road tyre, but I do a fair few track-days and find they 'go off' after about 4 laps of Brands and start squirming and under-steering badly. The side walls are not as stiff as I'd like and I have to over inflate the rears about 8-10psi to compensate on the track. Still nowhere near as good as the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2, sadly no longer made. GSD3's have softer sidewalls again and not recommended for MG fitment. I recon Yokohamas AD08r are worth a punt for track work. For road use, the Toyo's are a good, comfortable grippy tyre in wet or dry at a good price for a premium road tyre.
