Comment:
When I purchased the car in July 2017 it was fitted with Hankook tyres and they performed well. Previously I had a 2015 TT and for that I purchased a space saver wheel which I transferred to the TTS. I then discovered it wouldn't fit on the front wheels of the TTS because of the larger brake callipers. So I then had a dilemma as I don't trust the inflation kits supplied with the car. I therefore went for run flat tyres and the Goodyear F1 Eagles looked a good option (but not cheap!). When the tyres were delivered to Boxley tyres (excellent) they advised that they wouldn't have ordered run flats for a car like the TTS as they have stiffer side walls. However, to be honest, I haven't noticed any difference and I can drive with confidence that worst case I can carry on for 50 miles with a flat tyre and have the space saver if necessary which in the event of a rear puncture I can fit or in the case of a front puncture swap a rear wheel to the front. I have driven through some horrendous rain recently and the grip has been good. This car being quattro you don't slow down for puddles!

Really nice tyre, giving a comfortable ride, also has good grip and responsive when driving more actively.
