like all dedicated winter tires they are squishy and make the back end feel like its on a wet sponge when on the highway. BUT when the real winter weather hits these tires shine, when others are struggling to get traction you are already moving with no problem. snow cover roads are the most fun but you still have to be careful when driving on ice- still way better then any all weather ties. summary- hate em when dry, better when wet and great when the snow hits. the first 4000 miles are very quiet, as winter tires are usually qiote noisy
