Definitive tyre for bad weather, that compiles benefits from both studded and non-studded winter tyres. Very good grip on both icy and snowy road, and suites very well for Nordic climate. Studs are very robust, and they do not pop off easily. After 15000km driving the whole set was missing only few studs. HKPL4 has also good aqua-planing abilities, though grip on dry or wet tarmac is naturally not as good as with summer tyres. Tyre edges are little bit sharp, so handling on a tarmac with grooves is not the best possible: it can make you feel that your car does not go straight. This phenomenon quite likely depends also very much of the car handling itself. After two winter seasons you probably want to purchase new set of HKPL's. Most likely the tires has still sufficient grooves and most of the studs are left, but tyre material itself has aged a little bit so traction on snow and ice is no more in perfect shape. In my opinion, this applies to all other winter tyres and manufacturers, not only Nokia HKPL4.

The best tyre I ever used in Moscow's winter. It allows you to run aggressively like on Sommer tyres in Summer.
