Excellent winter tyre on a budget. Good grip in all conditions at low temperatures

Great tyres, bought for a trip through Europe, ventured up the Alps in heavy snow - the tyres kept their grip - didn't have to use snow chains once! In normal (UK) conditions, the tyres do very well too. Recommended.

    Comment:
The Kumhos take about 1000 miles or so to wear in to the point that the grip feels more secure, though wheel spin in wet can still be a bit of a problem. General cornering grip was fairly good and in snow the tyres did provide good traction on long hills etc. These tyres aren't ground breaking, but do provide that bit extra security in the ice and snow.
