When winter was approaching and our tyres looking a bit sparse in the tread department it was time for a change. The wife is a care home manager and needs to get to work without excuse, so a winter tyre was high on the list. I studied the internet reviews etc and with a balance of price V quality I got these Falkens. I wasn't disappointed at all. Within weeks of fitting them the weather turned nasty, cold and wet, there ability to carve through standing water is unbelievable. The wife was driving on a motorway in the heavy rain when suddenly there was flood water crossing the road without warning, she didn't have time to brake, before we knew it the car was through the water and all we felt was a slight shudder and deceleration. They were great in the snow and ice, the wife kept the speed down naturally and they carried her and the car quite safely every time. Thank you Falken.
