    They are simply a great all round tyre. I ride all year round and on good to reasonable condition roads (you know what I mean) I haven&#39;t been able to make them slip and I ride progressively. Enjoy

    Fitted these to my NC750X for a trip to Morocco where I knew I&rsquo;d need something with all Little off road ability (90:10 in favour of road). They replaced some Bridgestone 023s, which had been a big improvement over the standard Dunlop Trailmaxs, so I didn&rsquo;t expect much improvement. I was pleasantly surprised, especially in the wet where grip and feedback is massively improved, giving much more confidence cornering in the wet. I do around 7000 miles a year commuting in all weathers and these are the best tyres I&rsquo;ve used.

    From the first time riding with the new tyres the bike was transformed, steering accuracy was fantastic and the tyre performs brilliantly in wet and dry conditions with very short warm up time. The bedding in period was not needed as I found no issues at all.

    These are my 3rd set of Metzeler Roadtec 01 tyres and they have been incredible. Very quick to warm up, slightly susceptible to squaring off if lots of motorway miles but very good grip in wet and dry. Had a couple of slight slips when banked over hard on roundabouts in the wet, but really amazing tyres. Get about 10-14,000 miles out of a front and 7-8,000 out of a rear on my Triumph Bonneville T100.

    I&#39;ve used Dunlop Road Smart 3, Michellin PR4 and Metzeler Roadtec 01 on my MT and the latter is by far the best. The bike feels planted, there&#39;s loads of grip even in the wet and it lasts for ages with little squaring off, though that wouldn&#39;t he the case of you did lots of motorway miles. What I like about the Roadtec is that there is more than enough dry grip than I will ever need. I&#39;m a seasoned rider having been on bikes for 26 years and ride with enthusiasm shall we say. However despite the plentiful dry grip it is in the wet where the Roadtec shines. Lean angles and confidence that you&#39;d expect in the dry are the norm and the feed back and turning in of the bike are confidence inspiring. These tyre also have great life with me getting 6000miles from my last rear which I think is in large part due to the fact I don&#39;t believe they are dual compound so there are no softer bits to wear quickly. Surprising given the performance of the tyre.

    Not a bad tyre when new. Back tended to skip about on white lines and grooves. Past it&rsquo;s best by 5000 km. wierd profile developed that caused odd handling and vibration. Plenty of tread left so I put up with it for commuting. Not as good as PR4s IMHO

    Best tire by miles in the wet, confidence inspiring, good feedback, and even if it does let go, it does it progressively and smoothly. Doesn&#39;t deal with ice and/or snow as good as they look they would, but they will get you through it, just. better than others still. In the dry, it&#39;s quite possibly the worst. Handlebars vibrate quite a bit at speeds(only in dry), at 90+mph speeds all confidence is lost, somehow it provides less feedback in the dry as well. I personally use these tires from Oct to April, then swap it to normal tires, this way I have grip all year round.

    This tyre is amazing, it provides dry and wet grip in abundance. It provides a wear consistentancy through the tyres life that drops very little. I also trackday this tyre and its calmness and predictability at the limit is great. I haven&rsquo;t found an all round tyre to match it yet.

    Banking right over, this tyre gives great confidence. Got the stronger side walled tyre for my heavy 630lb BMW K bike Angel GT is super sticky! Would definitely buy again.
