before i use Bridgestone tyres, when i chang to Mitas tyres i see hudge difference, rear tyre is much better stick to asphalt than with BS. Propably this is the best choice with lower price.

190/55 rear - 120/70 front. I normally buy Michelin, Dunlop or Conti Sport tyres but spotted these on eBay and read as many reviews as I could find, over a couple of weeks, before deciding to buy. I haven't been disappointed! ....Cleaned newly fitted tyres with a blast of brake cleaner, clean rag then warmed them up on a 6-mile high-speed blast around local ring road and couple of laps of 3 interconnected motorway roundabouts, before a big left-hand helical motorway slip road then up onto the pennines for a few miles of twisties. Bike felt comfortable, solid, balanced and predictable from the start. They went straight on font and rear without the need for balancing (after the valve - balance marks were lined up). Tyres have inspired more confidence with every mile and haven't squirmed in the dry yet, even under full throttle. Fantastic performance for the money.
21.09.2021 from Mladen
Very grippy tires, warms up quickly, very flickable and easy to switch directions, especially when new. I tested them completely new and cold, went full gas and they didn't slide. So when new they are very grippy. After 6000 km grip gradually dissapear as tyre wears out in the middle. You can expect 10 000km from the rear and front can go at least another 3-5000 km. Higly recommend. The best cheap new tyre for your money.

No difference to a top brand, works on all road conditions.

My first tyre was recalled by Continental thru Delticom Tyres for a potential sidewall fault. The cost to fit the replacement tyre was £31.50 but Delticom only refunded me £11.60. I am out of pocket by £19.90 and Delticom will not refund this amount. The tyre is great but cannot recommend Delticom Tyres.

As a Bloodbiker I ride in all areas and in all weathers. I had learned before I started this that the Metzeler tyre was excellent in both wet and dry conditions. the effect is that you are always riding the same bike with the same performance characteristics - on previous bikes it felt that i was riding a different bike whenever it rained compared to when it was dry. On aa advanced skills training day, one of the instructors ran up to check what tyres I had fitted as he was surprised at the way my bike handled and could stop in shorter distances than most of the other bikes. On my main bike, this is now the fourth or fifth set I have fitted, and when I bought another bike, there was no doubt in what tyres I had fitted straight away, with these being the automatic choice for my daughter's bike too.

Using Metzler tyres on my bike gives me confidence whatever the weather. Too many other brands behave differently in the wet vs dry - it can be like having two different bikes on the same journey. You don't sacrifice longevity with the Metzler either, with 9-12,000 miles per set (15,000km+. That's better than some other brands.). Their latest compound seems to have gone back to what they used a few years ago and the grip quality has improved (it had been deteriating over the last couple of versions - still better than other makes, but not the same as they made 5-6 years ago. As I volunteer to deliver blood products, I'm out in all weathers, throughout the year, so the performance of my tyres is vitally important. the Meltzer's do deliver!

No issues with these tyres, they provide the grip and stability that I need for my journeys I have only done 1200km so far on the tyres and they seem fine l've owned this bike for 20years so I have a good feel of it I used to commute all year on it but now only pleasure runs out

I have had nothing but puncture after puncture with Pirelli. 2 Rosso 2’s and even worse Rosso 3’s x2, too soft for British road’s but I am held to ransom as I can’t get Michelin’s in the size any more for some reason.
23.12.2021 from Sean
Good grip wet & dry(>10degC) and reasonable feedback, mainly used on fast A and twisty B roads. Ride quite hard so only about 2500 miles from rear tyre, about double for front. Comparable to other tyres, is Michelin road smart 4

With almost 50years of motorcycle riding experience my focus is more on riding defensively and safely and only pushing to the (my) limits on track days. I have not done a track day on this set of tyres yet so cannot claim to have tested their abilities. That said, I have ridden in wet and dry weather conditions without any concerns over grip or stability. At this stage tyre wear appears good, as I would expect from Conti's, with no sign of squaring off. I am very happy with these tyres and am planning on replacing them with more of the same when the time comes.
10.03.2022 from Steve
Bearing in mind being a motorcycle rider with limited experience, the only noticable drawback with the Continental Motion is perhaps the compound is slightly edged towards performance which increases wear. Perhaps this is normal although my riding style is .... how should i say, .... reserved even careful and therefore do not get full use from high performance tyres. Tyre dimension option not possible:- 140/70/17

Nice stable tyre. They were fitted to the bike when I bought it and saw no reason to try anything different when it came time to replace the rear tyre

Predictable grip in the wet and dry. Seem to not wear quite as well compared to previous Bridgestones, but grip a bit better in the wet on my ‘98 GSX 750, I am not a GP rider but then again, this isn’t a ‘lightweight’ 500 twin either, when riding something like this, you have to mean it and don’t want to be let down by cheapo ‘India Rubber brands’ half way round a corner. These are far better than anything that was available when the bike was new as are all mainstream brands. So far, I can’t fault them. Generally speaking, really sticky tyres wear out quick on heavier bikes and long life tyres don’t grip. These seem to have dual compound characteristics??
14.08.2024 from Paul Knowles
Absolute perfection. These tyres inspire confidence! Superb handling and braking characteristics. The make my bike feel lighter and more agile. I run them 3psi higher than rated on my machine and they feel great. Very happy with the tyres and I’ll by them again and they have now become my go to tyre!
